SANDY GROUND--A sixteen-year-old youth allegedly stabbed his stepfather to death at the family home on Lady Fish Road between 6:00 and 7:00pm on Saturday.
Police officers refused to allow anyone near the scene and ensured that forensics were maintained intact.
The suspect was hunted by police and with the assistance of the general public he was detained later that same night and placed in custody. He is said to be originally from Jamaica. Details regarding the identity of the deceased were not yet made public.
The investigation is still ongoing.
