The Education Ministry is to be�allocated money for schools to take precautions or relocation in view of the threats of landslides,� Minister Bandula Gunawardena told Timesonline.
He said that a cabinet paper will be submitted after the National Building Research Organisation (NBRO) submits its report on the current situation.
?We hope to take precautions in some of the schools while in some areas we may have to�find new places to relocate them?,� he said.
Last week the NBRO said�there were 24 schools in Kandy and Matale facing landslide threats.
