Diesel up, gas down

PHILIPSBURG--Fuel prices were adjusted Thursday night at midnight to reflect a tiny decrease for unleaded gasoline and increase for diesel fuel.

The notice from the Government Information Service was issued on Thursday morning, rather than two days before as has been the norm.

The last price change was at the end of December 2010, when the rates were set at NAf. 2.11 per litre for unleaded gasoline and NAf. 1.81 per litre for diesel fuel.

The new prices as of today will be NAf. 2.10 per litre for unleaded gasoline, a decrease of one cent, and NAf. 1.89 per litre for diesel fuel, an increase of 8 cents.
