Minister?s driver held in BTA probe

PHILIPSBURG--The Brooks Tower Accord (BTA) investigation has taken a further turn with the arrest of the Minister of Justice's driver.

The woman, said to be a VKS officer with strong connections to the Immigration Department, was arrested shortly after 9:00am Tuesday. This brings the total number of arrests to six. Three of the six have been released from custody and two are still detained at the prison. The location of this latest suspect is not yet known to the press.

Prosecutor's Office spokesman Rienk Mud declined to comment on whether more arrests were to be made.
