Jordan trade with Europe on the rise

Fresh foreign trade data indicated that the value of Jordanian exports to EU countries rose by 45% to 155.6 million dinars (some US$218 million) in 2010 compared to 107 million dinars (US$150 million) in 2009. The kingdom's exports to the member countries of the European free trade, which includes Switzerland, Iceland and Norway, rose significantly in 2010 and hit 45.4 million dinars compared to 117 thousand dinars for the year 2009. Most of the trade was directed to Switzerland.
