Two women who were burnt to death inside a house in Kahawatte have been found by the villagers.
The women identified as Hethuge Dayawathi, 58 and Hethuge Thilakwathi 51, were residing in Warapitiya, Kahawatte where the incident took place.
More than 10 women have already been killed in the Kahawatte area during the past two years.
In January a mother and daughter were also killed in the Kahawatte area.
