The price for a litre of Lanka India Oil Company (LIOC) diesel has been further jacked up by Rs. two from midnight today, a spokesperson for the company said a short while ago. The LIOC had earlier sought approval to raise the price of diesel by Rs. 10 saying that it was facing losses. The prevailing price for a litre of LIOC diesel is Rs. 115.
