Police arrest car thief at home in South Reward

SOUTH REWARD--M.L. was arrested at his home in South Reward on October 26 at 11:50pm for allegedly stealing a car that had been parked near the Winair building in Simpson Bay. The suspect allegedly drove the stolen vehicle to his home where police caught up with him.

At the residence officers called out to the suspect to come out. When he refused to cooperate, officers entered the home by force. M.L. was found hiding under a bed.

On searching the residence and car the police found two black bags with various construction tools. Also collected in the search were a computer tower, computer monitors, a set of speakers, and other electrical appliances.

M.L. was transported to the Philipsburg police station where he was booked and questioned.
