Former Army Commander Sarath Fonseka has called the opposition to form a brod political front to fight against injustices committed by the government.
He made the call when UNP's Deputy Leader Karu Jayasuriya visited him at the Welikada prisons on Saturday, a day after he was sentenced to three more years by the High Court trial-at-bar who heard the 'White Flag' case.
Mr Jayasuriya was one of the first MPs to visit him after being sentenced for the second time.
The UNP deputy leader spent 45 minutes where he discussed the current political situaiton.
