Police identify drifting body

MAHO--The police have identified the man whose body was found drifting in the Maho Reef area on Sunday, August 28, as Nicolas Paul Manji Sagar (33), born in the United Kingdom.

His co-workers at a piano bar did not see him report to his pianist position at work and went looking for him at his residence in Beacon Hill.

The Detective Department indicated that there was no foul play involved. The body which had been confiscated has been released by the Prosecutor's Office.

Police spokesman Inspector Ricardo Henson said the most common scenario in similar cases was that alcohol usually played a key role in the person's demise.
