Two Sri Lankans smuggling gold and foreign currency were nabbed at the Bandaranaike Internaional Airport by the Customos in the early hours of today, officials said.

The foreign currency was packed in a false bottom of each of the bags and the gold coins in the handles of the bag.

They were heading to Chennai and Sinapore and residents of Matale and Grand Pass.
