Taxi Association

page8a063The Dutch St. Maarten Taxi Association (DSTA) held a ground breaking ceremony for its new headquarters Friday afternoon in Madame Estate. Builders will begin to put together the association's new head quarters next week. The building will house the taxi's dispatch centre, a conference hall, and additional office space. Three shovels pierced the newly-acquired land held by (left) oldest board member Edwin Arundell, the association's president Ottis Hughes, and founder of DSTA Alfonso Washington.
