External Affairs Minister G.L.Peiris today declared that the resolution passed in Geneva last week cannot be used to impose any economic sanctions on the country.
The minister addressing a press conference in Colombo today said economic sanctions could be imposed on a country only through a resolution at the UN Security Council.
