Egypt: New cabinet sworn in

Egypt's State TV on Monday announced that President Hosni Mubarak has sworn in a new cabinet. In an important change, the infamous interior minister was replaced. A retired police general, Mahmoud Wagdi, was named to replace Habib el-Adly. 

Mubarak has retained his long-serving defense minister, Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi, and his foreign minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit.
