Fonseka?s daughter briefly detained at airport

A daughter of former Army Commander General (Retd.) Sarath Fonseka, was briefly detained and questioned by police shortly after arriving at the Katunayake International Airport (KIA) from the United States, the family said.

Fonseka?s wife, Anoma said her daughter Aparna was briefly held back at passport control until officials went through her travel documents.

Sleuths from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) had questioned my daughter before releasing her, Ms. Fonseka said.
