REWARD--Figures provided by Milton Peters College (MPC) show that final exams students recorded a 64.8 per cent overall passing rate, almost ten percentage points better than the 55 per cent overall passing rate of 2011.
MPC's graduation was held at Port de Plaisance Resort and Spa on Thursday evening. The results were issued officially after a number of students had the opportunity to re-sit their examinations.
Of the four education streams at the school PBL/PKL, TKL and VWO recorded results above 60 per cent. HAVO was the only stream below 60 per cent, though barely at 59.2 per cent. Taken individually, 73 students of the PBL/PKL stream passed (73.7 per cent), 68 TKL students (64 per cent), 49 HAVO students (59.2 per cent) and five VWO students passed (62.5 per cent).
