Car chase

St. Maarten police were involved in a car chase on A.Th. Illidge Road that ended in Fort Willem on Tuesday, July 10. Police were in pursuit of a rental black Jeep Wrangler that was reported as containing three men with counterfeit money. The driver of the vehicle lost control and the front part of it went over the trench on Fort Willem Road. The men escaped on foot, but one was caught and is in police custody. Further details were unavailable up to press time.
