~ Public should expect traffic congestion ~
PHILIPSBURG--To facilitate the continuation of the Ebenezer to Illidge Road sewage-line project, Zagersgut Road will be partially closed from the Zagersgut/Coralita Road junction to the Cottage Roundabout (Eddie's Auto Supply) during the period Tuesday, July 3, to Monday July 23.
During this period traffic originating on Bush Road with destination Madame Estate, Middle Region, Dutch Quarter and French Quarter may utilise Zagersgut Road in that direction only.
Traffic originating in Madame Estate, Middle Region, Dutch Quarter and French Quarter to all destinations will be re-routed onto A.Th. Illidge Road at the Cottage Roundabout.
Traffic originating in Philipsburg with destination Madame Estate, Middle Region, Dutch Quarter and French Quarter is advised to utilise Sucker Garden Road, but may also use A.Th. Illidge Road.
In addition, a section of Coralita Road will be affected beginning at the Zagersgut/Coralita Road junction from Tuesday, July 24, to Friday, August 10. The traffic measures pertaining to this will be detailed in a future public notice.
In all cases, access will be provided for emergency services and persons residing adjacent to the works and detours.
