Touching scene

Some says a ?touching scene? unfolded Friday night amidst the carnage of an accident that claimed the life of a cow on L.B. Scott Road. The cow died after being hit by a Suzuki Vitara. A bull arrived at the scene of the accident within minutes and tried to revive the dead cow. At one point the bull charged and chased the crowd gathered at the accident. He calmed down eventually and stayed with the dead cow until the carcass was taken away on a tow truck. According to the driver of the Suzuki Vitara involved in the accident, the cow dashed out of Emilio Wilson Park area onto the main road, resulting in the accident. Cattle roaming the road are an ongoing problem in the vicinity of the park and police are investigating to find the cow?s owner. (John Halley photo)
