Two farmers were crushed to death after they got caught up in a paddy threshing machine at Manampitiya in the Welikanda area earlier today, police and hospital officials said.
They said the two persons were dragged inside the machine after their clothes got entangled to the fast moving blades while feeding paddy into it.
The victims were identified as Manoj Sansun and S. Sivasambu, both residents of Manampitiya.
