Egypt starts to build wind power stations

Egypt, one of the windiest areas and the leading country in the Middle East in wind power is set to begin constructing, in May, two of four wind power stations in the Gulf of Suez. Total expected output at the completion of the project is 1000 MW or 250 MW per station.

Bids for wind farms in this area will be launched in cooperation with the European Union, Spain, and German banks
