No Sri Lankan directly affected by tsunami: SL mission in Japan

The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Japan has informed that as of now the Mission has not received any information regarding Sri Lankan nationals being affected as a direct result of earthquake in Japan.

In a press release, the Foreign Ministry stated that the Mission is in close contact with Sri Lankan Buddhist temples, places of other religious worship, consuls and the Sri Lankan community leaders to ascertain the well-being of Sri Lankan nationals living in Japan
