PHILIPSBURG--The final suspect arrested as part of the Brooks Tower Immigration enquiry was released on Tuesday afternoon.
The female, a former VKS officer who was dismissed from the service over 12 months ago, had recently been employed as the driver for the Minister of Justice, Roland Duncan.
Spokesman for the Prosecutor's Office Rienk Mud told The Daily Herald, "There was insufficient evidence of the extent of wrong doing to justify her prolonged detention. To this extent she may remain a suspect. However, at this time she is free."
When asked if she was likely to face charges at all, Mud replied, "We shall not comment about what may be or may not be at this time."
