Gunmen stall flights in Libya

Flights with Etihad Airways between Tripoli and Abu Dhabi were postponed after the international airport was seized by gunmen.

“Due to the closure of Tripoli airport, Etihad Airways has delayed its flights between Abu habi and Tripoli from Tuesday 5 June to Wednesday 6 June,” a spokesperson for the carrier said in an emailed comment to Arabian Business.

The situation in Libya will continue to be monitored; but as of now it remains unsafe for any flights to resume
