Private sector requested to declare April 7 as Wesak holiday

Minister of Labour Gamini Lokuge today requested the private sector and corporations to declare April 7 (Monday) as a Wesak holiday.

The government earlier announced April 7 as public holiday as Wesak falls on a weekend.
