Three pedestrians knocked down while waiting for a bus

A schoolgirl and a teacher were among three pedestrians knocked down by a car when they were waiting for a bus at Beratuduwa Junction in Balapitiya this morning, Police said.

They were immediately admitted to the Balapitiya Base Hospital.

The injured were a student of Balapitiya Revatha National College, a teacher and a woman working at a garment factory in Ambalangoda.
