The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that at least 11 civilians, including three in Homs, were killed by Syrian security forces on the first day of Eid al-Adha.

On his part, French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe said Sunday it was clear that al-Assad was not going to implement the Arab roadmap and there was "nothing more to expect" from his regime.
