Foreign company operted boat service on Diyawanna Oya

A foreign company will be given the rights to operate a boat service along the Diyawanna Oya once the dredging work on the waterway is completed, Deputy Minister of Economic Development Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena said.

He said the boat service would attract both foreign and local visitors to the area.

A similar service would also operate on the Beira river, he added.
