Egypt to start investigating Mubarak wealth soon

The provisional government of Egyptian announced on this Tuesday that it will soon start to investigate the wealth of the former president Hosni Mubarak, as part of the measures to try to wipe out the corruption and to transform the image of the country.

The Supreme Council of the Armed Forces stated that it will form a judicial commission to investigate Mubarak, his wife Suzanne and his two sons Alaa and Gamal and theirs wives. They have already been banned to travel abroad and their assets were ordered to frozen by general prosecutor Abdel Magid Mahmoud.

Unofficial estimates say the stolen wealth from the Egyptian population may reach $ 70 billion dollars, making Mubarak the richest person in the world
